Easter, also called Pascha (Greek, Latin) or Resurrection Sunday, is a festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c. 30 AD. It is the culmination of the Passion of Jesus, preceded by Lent (or Great Lent), a forty-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance.

Most Christians refer to the week before Easter as "Holy Week"—it contains the days of the Easter Triduum, including Maundy Thursday, commemorating the Maundy and Last Supper,as well as Good Friday, commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus. In Western Christianity, Eastertide, or the Easter Season, begins on Easter Sunday and lasts seven weeks, ending with the coming of the fiftieth day, Pentecost Sunday. In Eastern Christianity, the season of Pascha begins on Pascha and ends with the coming of the fortieth day, the Feast of the Ascension.

Efter att ha besökt Kalabrien och Pizzo för ett antal år sedan har tankarna funnits kring möjligheten att köpa en lägenhet i denna vackra och genuina del av Italien. Vi fick tidigt kontakt med Birute Bilinske från Apple Consulting på en mässa i Stockholm och Birute har sedan dess svarat på hundratals frågor i mail. När vi åkte tillbaka till Pizzo för ett år sedan visade hon oss runt i regionen och vi tittade på olika typer av boenden. Det var en vacker aprildag med gelato i Zambrone och en underbar pranzo uppe i bergen med allt vad Italien kan frambringa vad gäller mat.

Valet föll på Borgonovo där vi även bott vid varje besök. Detta till stor del beroende på läget eftersom lägenheterna ligger så nära den gamla staden och har så vacker havsutsikt.

Under köpeprocessen, som skiljer sig en hel del från den svenska, har vi hela tiden fått mycket bra hjälp och snabba svar av Apple Consulting. Så ett stort tack även till Richard Hazel och Paola Piccione.

A redevelopment project that wants to enhance the beauty of this place and create a structure that outlines the typical aspects, through a diligent use of materials and local vegetation, such as palm trees, olive trees, orange trees, bougainvillea’s, succulents and oleanders.

The proposed transformation of the new luxury resort in Calabria was carried out by the Italian design studio L4 Designing Getaways and aims to create a structure with low environmental impact and high energy efficiency, with the provision of charging columns for electric cars and separate waste collection some waste.

The Bio-Resort will have, at the end of the transformation, a richer and more luxuriant vegetation than the current one, together with a positive impact of environmental and social re qualification.
