We travelled to Calabria for our first time in May 2015. We had heard
and read a lot about this beautiful and exciting place and was looking
forward to our trip.

First, we stayed a week in Pizzo where
someone we know had bought an apartment from Windrush Alliance a few
years ago. We were curious and contacted Windrush and asked whether they
could show us holiday houses in the area.

Andrea, a kind and
lovely man, drove us around for a whole day and showed us several
beautiful places. We were just looking with no plans of buying. However,
this day ended in a lot of thinking. A few days later we decided to
call Andrea for more showings, especially in Borgonovo in Pizzo and an
apartment we fell in love with.
But still we were not supposed to
buy anything. Before we went back to Norway we had a meeting with
several polite, helpful and professional people from Windrush. They gave
us great information and trust, and more importantly, safety.

Back
in Norway we organised the financing and after a few days of thinking
we made the decision. We emailed Windrush Alliance and told them we
wanted to buy an apartment in Borgonovo! It was settled, we agreed to
buy the apartment in Borgonovo in Pizzo, Calabria.

Windrush
started doing their work right away, the process of choosing decoration,
equipment, bathroom, kitchen, colours, beds, IKEA etc., all the
documents and agreements. Windrush organised everything nicely and
safely and provided us with information during the whole process. We
felt us very safe all the way from our home in Norway and were reassured
that everything was done properly and duly and for the right cost of
course. All the kind-hearted workers from Windrush really did a great
job in getting us a fantastic holiday house in Pizzo. It was
outstanding!

In August 2015 we returned to Pizzo, this time to
receive the keys to our new home in Calabria. Andrea stood smiling and
greeted us in Lamezia. He drove us to Borgonovo where everything was in
place, even food in our fridge. Once again, outstanding work.
Everything
went as we hoped, actually even better. All of the documents and
payments were taken care of and we were officially legally owners of an
amazing apartment in Pizzo.
Without the outstanding work we received
from Richard and his crew in Windrush and Apple Consulting would not
this be an opportunity. Thank you so much for all the help! We are
excited for the future since Apple Consulting will continue their
excellent work with us. They will always be our great and safe helpers.
They will take care of our apartment; help us with papers, bills, rent
and anything we wish.
We feel completely safe to say that this will become a great holiday place for our children and us in many years to come.
