Windrush Alliance wins international property award.

AIPP announced the winners of its 2011 awards on Friday 11th March at A Place in the Sun Live, London. The 11 awards for excellence in customer service were presented by A Place in the Sun: Home or Away’s Jonnie Irwin on the exhibition’s main stage, in front of a packed audience made up of both consumers and industry professionals.

Irwin was also one of the 11 strong panel of judges who attended a full day of judging at the AIPP head office on 17th February where the winners were selected. To oversee the judging process was Christopher Hamer, The Property Ombudsman, who acted as Chair of the panel.

“The winners of this year’s awards can be very proud of their achievement and we send our congratulations to them,” said AIPP’s Mark Sharp. “Indeed, all entrants should be applauded for taking part. By putting themselves through the entry process and opening themselves up to independent assessment, entrants are playing their part toward defining a benchmark for higher industry standards.”

The AIPP Awards are unique in this market as they are not-for-profit and do not judge the properties or developments themselves, focusing instead on customer care and how companies set out to ensure the best possible buying experience. This year’s Awards were sponsored by Kinnell Holdings Ltd and The Registry Collection whose Vice President Europe, Nick Turner, commented: “We are delighted to be involved in rewarding excellence in the international property industry. Ensuring the very highest standards in customer service and professionalism is central to our own ethos and it’s fantastic to see AIPP members striving to achieve high levels of client care.”
Windrush Alliance was an award winner on the day picking up one of the Best European Agent awards. “It is always nice to be commended for your company’s work, especially when voted by your industry peers,” said Richard Hazel MD of Windrush Alliance.
Congratulations to this year’s winners and thank you to all AIPP members who took part in the Awards 2011.
